Oregon Delegate Selection and Congressional District Conventions

“Filing deadline to run as a Delegate and/or Alternate Delegate to the RNC National Convention is quickly approaching. As well as applications to run as a 2024 Presidential Elector and/or Congressional District Officer.  

The deadline to file for the following positions is April 10, 2024.
At Large Delegate/Alternate Delegate to the RNC Convention.
Congressional District Delegate/Alternate Delegate to the RNC Convention
Presidential Electors

Congressional District Officers for all six of Oregon's Congressional Districts.

Attached are the forms to file for the above positions.

Below is the information regarding whom is eligible to attend the Oregon Delegate Selection and Congressional District Conventions on May 25, 2024.

 

Two 'Conventions' - One Day

The General Assembly convenes at 9 a.m.

During the General Assembly The ORP attendees will elect 10 At Large Delegates and 10 Alternate Delegates to represent Oregon at the RNC National Convention.At the conclusion of those elections we will elect eight Presidential Electors to the Electoral College.

Convention Two aka Congressional District Breakout Sessions

After the General Assembly Convention adjourns, PCPs will attend their respective Congressional District Breakout session. Each Congressional District will elect three District Delegates and three Alternate Delegates to the RNC National Convention.

Election of Congressional District Officers

Each of the six Congressional Districts will elect for a four year term the following positions:
Chair, Vice Chair, Alternate Chair, Alternate Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.”
