The Young Republicans of Oregon are currently planning an in-person event in Yamhill County. We plan to tour President Hoover's home in Newberg and attend the McMinnville UFO Festival on May 17th.
We wish to ask members of the YCRP to invite any friends or family members between the ages of 18 and 40 to join us during our time in Yamhill. YRO Chairman Tanner Elliott, executive committee members, and I believe your insight on what makes Yamhill a strong Republican County compared to the nearby major Democratic counties in Oregon can be instrumental.

McMinnville Chamber of Commerce Candidate Forum
We hope you will join us as we hear from House District Candidates Lucetta Elmer and Victoria Ernst; County Commissioner Candidates Kit Johnston and Beth Wytoski; and McMinnville City Council Ward 2 Candidates Zack Geary and George Humlie. The format will be pre-selected questions regarding current issues.

Chehalem Valley (Newberg) Candidate Debate Forum
A trio of local entities have joined forces to stage a forum where voters can hear and see candidates for five key positions in local, county and state government.
Organized by the Chehalem Valley Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the Newberg City Club and the Civility Project at George Fox University, the forum is set for 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in the Hoover 105 lecture hall at the university.
The forum will kick off at 10 a.m. with candidates in the House District 23 and 24 races.
